Music

One of the integral parts of any DWD performance is the music. Although the topic is too large to cover here in detail, following are a few key points.  Joining a DWD training group is a good way to get assistance and advice on choosing and editing music.

*  Pick some music you will enjoy (because you will be listening to it A LOT ).

*  Try to pick something with a beat that you can hear, and you and your dog can move to comfortably.

*  For competition the music must be between 1 and 4 minutes.
e.g. Approx
Starter -From 1min
Novice - From 2min
Intermediate - From 2min 30secs
Advanced - From 3min

*  For editing music there are a number of different software suites available, including the opensource
   (and therefore free)  Audacity
